My Song

The song I chose as my theme song is “Get Back to Beautiful” by Sofia Carson. I chose this song because I love how Sofia, the artist, is sending out a message through her singing. She tries to inspire her fans in every way that she can. She inspires me when it comes to trying to be a better person. I also look up to her when it comes to following my dreams.

One of my favorite lyrics from her song are from verse one and two “All these words, starting wars.Over who can hurt who more. Gotta, get back to beautiful. (from verse one) Judging who we love, judging where we’re from.When did this become so normal? Celebrating hate is now a commonplace.When did this become so normal? (from verse two).” She uses problems happening today and incorporates them in her music. Lastly, Sofia repeats the words “Get back to beautiful” because all of this hate and hostility is only changing the world for the worse. So, she tries to convince her listeners to spread love and joy so that all of the venom being shared can be dominated. In conclusion, I chose Sofia Carson’s song “Get Back to Beautiful” due to the fact that she not only inspires her admires, she also inspires me and she’s one of those artists that I look up to when it comes to following my dream of being a singer.
